Overview:
The Women In Sexual Education (WISE) program focuses on empowering women and young girls through education on sexual health and reproductive rights. As a Women Empowerment Advocate, you’ll work closely with local women to provide support and guidance on vital
topics that affect their lives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate workshops on sexual and reproductive health for women and girls.
- Support women in learning about their health rights and access to healthcare.
- Develop and deliver information sessions on family planning, HIV prevention, and gender equality.
- Mentor young women and assist them in making informed decisions regarding their health and futures.
- Assist in community outreach to engage more women and girls in the program.
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers to organise health clinics and services.
Requirements:
- Experience in healthcare, public health, social work, or education is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for women’s rights and health.
- Empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity are essential.
- Willingness to work in rural or under- resourced areas.
