Overview:
The Education Empowerment for Sustainable Communities (EESC) program aims to support local schools by providing educational resources and empowering teachers. As an Education Empowerment Volunteer, you’ll have the chance to improve access to quality education for children.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in classrooms by offering one-on-one tutoring or group instruction.
- Help design and deliver educational workshops in schools, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and life skills.
- Collaborate with local teachers to develop innovative teaching techniques that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Organize and support after-school activities that promote creative learning.
- Help distribute and maintain educational resources, including textbooks and learning materials.
Requirements:
- Background in education, social work, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong passion for working with children and creating an engaging learning environment.
- Culturally adaptable and open to working in a rural setting.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of lesson planning and classroom management.
